    TheintentofthisletteristorecommendJoeBruenaswellsuitedandpreparedforstudentteaching.

    IfirsthadthepleasureofteachingJoeinmyAppliedPsychologyclassandWesternCivilizationcourse,
    whichoffereddualhighschoolandcommunitycollegecredit.Ihavecontinuedtohaveapersonaland
    professionalrelationshipwithJoesincehishighschoolgraduation,whenhejoinedtheUniversal
    CheerleadingAssociations(UCA)summerinstructionalstaff,towhichIhavealsobeenaninstructorwithfor
    thepast16summers.SincethenIhavewatchedhimmatureinintellectandleadershipallwhilemaintaining
    hisjovialandunderstandingnature,whichhascontinuallyendearedhimtoothers,whethertheybe
    classmates,teachers,colleagues,orcampers.
    Joesabilitytounderstandandrelatetosuchawidevarietyofpeopleisnodoubtcorrelatedtohis
    ownintrigueandcuriosity,whichhasallowedhimtoexploreaplethoraofplacesandactivities.Thereare
    notmanywhocansaythattheywereahomecomingcourtcandidate,amemberofnationalhonorsociety,a
    gymnast,astatequalifyingswimmer,acollegecheerleader,arugbyplayer,aforeignexchangestudent,a
    farmhand,andtheleadsingerofaband.Joeswidevarietyofexperiencesallowshimtoadaptquicklyto
    situationsandmakepersonalconnectionswithvirtuallyanyone.
    WhileitiseasytoadmireJoeforhisRenaissancemanpersona,itisnotwhyIchoosetocallhim
    myfriendorwhyIcontinuetochoosetomentorhim.Joeiscaredforbyallbecauseheisoneoftheleast
    judgmentalandopenmindedpersonsIhaveeverknownandhesimplymakespeoplearoundhimhappier.
    SincethiswasJoesfourthyearonUCAstaff,itwasexpectedthathetakeonmoreofaleadershiproleat
    camps.AshisheadinstructoratthosecampsIwaswitnesstoJoesemergingleadershipskillset,which
    includeddelegatingresponsibilitiestoyoungerinstructionalstaffers,modifyingthecurriculumforgreater
    learningandretention,andmanagingentiresectionsofbetween30to125campers.Iwasnotonly
    impressedwithJoesconfidenceinhisabilities,butalsohiscompetenceincompletinghisobjectives.I
    believeJoeBruenisexactlywhatisneededforeducationthisdayinage,andIcannotthinkofsomeone
    bettersuitedtoperhapsonedaycallacolleagueandIhighlyrecommendhimforanyandalleducational
    opportunitiesonecanaffordhim.
