CHARACTERS:
Bryan Mills portrayed by Liam Neeson as the main character of the movie is a

CIA agent with a very particular set of skills.
Inspector Franck Dotzler- portrayed by Forest Whitaker is a Los Angeles Police
Department detective who is in charge of the police force and the murder of
Leonore Mills-St. John.
Kim Mills- portrayed by Maggie Grace is the daughter of Bryan Mills whom he is
afraid to
be taken by the bad guys.
Lenore Mills-St. John - portrayed by Famke Janssen is the ex wife of Bryan Mills who
was murdered. Also called Lennie.
Stuart St. John - portrayed by Dougray Scott is the current husband of Leonore Mills
who
is currently at marital problem with his wife.
Oleg Malankov - portrayed by Sam Spruell is an ex-KGB Spetsnaz and Afghan War
veteran operative whom Stuart has a debt.
Sam Gilroy portrayed by Lelan Orser is the friend of Bryan Mills who helped him in
finding
justice for his ex-wifes murder.

PLOT:
EXPOSITION - Lenore and Stuart is having marital problems where Lenore come up
with the decision to end her marriage with his current husband Stuart. Lenore went to
his ex husband Bryan Mills hoping they can rekindle their past relationship but Mills
does not want to get involved in their problem. Leonor was found dead in Mills
apartment after the day they met where Mills gave him his key to his apartment for
Leonor to relax but the following they when Leonor texted him to meet him up at the
apartment he found her dead.

RISING ACTION - Immidiately after Mills found out Lenores dead body Los Angeles Police
Department arrive and arrested Mills but he was able to escape them and contacted her
daughter to tell her about Lenore.

CLIMAX After long investigation with the help of his former friend, Sam Gilroy, Bryan Mills
had found out who killed Lenore and hunts him down to protect her daughter. When he

finally Bryan approaches Malankov to deliver the final shot, until Malankov says they were played by the
same man - Stuart. Bryan leaves Malankov to die slowly.

FALLING ACTION- Kim sees some texts from Lenore's phone that mention going to a specific location.
She texted Bryan and then tries to contact him on his earpiece. Stuart knows what's happening, so he
grabs Kim and shoots Sam in the neck. Stuart flees with Kim. The cops find the van with Sam
unconscious but alive. Bryan realizes Kim is in trouble and he hijacks a car to go after her and Stuart

RESULOTION Bryan meets with Dotzler in his office. Dotzler says he knew Bryan was innocent
because he found the bagels in his apartment, and they were still warm. By that logic, he couldn't have
bought bagels and then committed murder. They part ways, and Dotlzer closes Bryan's files. Bryan joins
Kim and Jamie on the pier. He supports the two of them as they expect their child. Kim says that if it's a
girl, they will name her after Lenore. Bryan agrees with that choice.

TONE OF MOOD- The writer and director of the film tries to give thrilling moments to its
viewers was we viewers see the movie as something exciting.

- This movie makes the people be aware in every places

What are the major strengths and weakness of the story

- The strength of the story makes things possible and dont be negative and
other things that makes you fell down.

- NO. Because in this story every chapter is positive because when Bryan Mills
stay positive to find out who killed Lenore.

characters in the story or in another feature of the story that fascinated you?
- The particular idea of this story when Bryan got mad to the husband of Lenore

- I agree, because Whitley is a great author when it comes to the non-fiction
books.

Who would benefit from watching this movie?

- The one who loves moviesand who believes in hero. If they are not enjoying
watching maybe they should try this so they cannot be bored

- Dont be selfish and be more creative and brave in making movies in action.

- It compare to the other stories, because it gives more information about
murdering

- It affect me in the way that author gives lesson every episodes in this kind of
movie there are so many lesson you will dothis movie is really amazed me.

-I rate this movie a big thumbs up, I highly recommended to the other movie lovers to
watch this movie because it gives many lesson in this kind of situation and I know they will
like it too. It really gives information that many people will be aware.
