CT CHES AND ABDOMEN WITH CONTRAST

Clinical indication:
Diagnosed MMT. H/O uterine sarcoma for 2 years back. Chemo 9 cycles. Ascites and cirrhotic liver.
Technique:
Multiple thin axial sections were taken through chest and abdomen with IV contrast injection.
Report:
Chest wall appears normal. Bronchial walls are normal. Ascending aorta is normal. No ground glass
opacification seen. No bronchiectasis is noted. Trachea and bronchi are normal. There is no evidence of
pleural effusion or pneumothorax on either side. Heart is normal. No evidence of interstitial shadowing. No
gross bony lesion is seen.
There are multiple soft tissue enhancing mass nodule the largest measuring 6.1 x 6.25 cm in left lumber
region with area of necrosis. There is evidence of mild abdominopelvic ascites.
IMPRESSION:
CT chest findings are within normal.
Multiple soft tissue enhancing peritoneal lesion. Finding consistent with metastatic deposit.
Mild abdominopelvic ascites.
