Function

is a common kitchen tool made by wood,


used to safely store knives while keeping
them close at hand when cooking.
has slots designed to store knives and
other kitchen accessories either vertically,
at an angle, or sideways.
knife blocks may contain as few as 4
knives or utensils, or as many as 35
utensils.
blades will not be damaged as easily as if
the knife is simply thrown in a drawer.

Parts

Center Body it is where the large-sized


knives are placed.
Front Body it has four slots for smaller
knives.
Feet it keep the block in place, serve as
stopper.

Materials

Palochina Wood - It is the main material of


the knife holder. This is where the knife will be
placed.
Wood Glue - It is used to stick together or join
the parts of the wood.
Nail- They are used to keep the parts of the
block together.
Rubber feet - This is used to keep the knife
block in place or to keep it from moving.

Process

Preparation Prepare all the materials


needed for the whole process.
Measuring Measure the wood per part
Cutting - Cut all the wodden parts of the
block.
Joining - After cutting, join all the parts of
the block by the wood glue.
Finishing - Polish the block and use
varnish for finishing
