ELISA
A test that uses antibodies and color change
to identify a substance
It enables analysis of protein samples
immobilized in microplate wells using specific
antibodies
Involves at least one antibody with specificity
for a particular antigen

Basic Principle of ELISA

Use an enzyme to detect the binding of
antigen (Ag) to antibody (Ab)
Enzyme converts a colorless substrate
to a colored product, indicating the
presence of
