Assessment Without Levels

Dear parents and carers,
You may recall in the Autumn 2015 Chronicle Newsletter I talked about the new assessment
system which replaces levels. This is an important development in the assessment of your
child, and parents information evenings were scheduled for the Spring term.
We held the first of the parents information evenings last week which went well, and there are
two more planned as follows: -

Wednesday 27th January 2016 at 6.30pm

Tuesday 2nd February 2016 at 2.00pm
These information evenings are a great opportunity for you to learn and understand the
approach to be adopted by the Cheshire Academies Trust for the assessment of your
child(ren).
Attached is a copy of the letter which was handed out at the last parents evening which gives
more detailed information.
If you cannot make either of the above dates, please contact me via the school office and I
will arrange for more sessions to be scheduled.
