Happy Snow Day!
January 21, 2016
To All City Schools Employees,
Due to the threat of severe weather tomorrow, we
have declared a CODE YELLOW for Friday,
January 22”, That means that all schools and
offices are closed, and only essential personnel
are required to report for work.
Thope that everyone enjoys the long weekend
with your families, but please be careful. The
possibility of blizzard conditions is serious, and we want everyone to return to
work safe and sound. Be especially careful if you plan to shovel snow, because it
promises to be wet and heavy — don’t try to do it all at once and stop when you feel
tired.
On the plus side, wet snow is great for making snowballs and snowmen ~ so have
fun —but do it safely! And since you don’t have to drive to work — don’t drive at
all.
‘Thank you for everything you do for our students and our schools, and enjoy your
weekend
Sincerely,
Cp Horan
