THE UNIQUE PROCESS OF REVERSE OSMOSIS (RO) IN YOUR AQUAGUARD TOTAL DUO

Your Aquaguard Total DUO is equipped with the unique multi-stage RO Purification process to give you pure, fresh water. RO is a membrane
filtration process in which the water is passed under high pressure through a Thin Film Composite (TFC) Membrane with a 0.0001 micron pore
size. The output of the membrane is purified water, free from micro-organisms and with reduced Total Dissolved Solids.

Electronic Membrane Life Enhancer
This enhances the membrane life and improves water flow,
keeping your purifier functioning effectively.

Intelligent Scan technology checks for complete electrical

circuit integrity and keeps a constant check on the overhead
tank's water pressure, thus preventing any breakdowns. Its
Intelligent Scan and Alert Interface also indicates when the
filtration cartridges need to be replaced / checked.
Intelligent Interface
It is equipped with the following 4 Intelligent Indicators for
added convenience:
Power Indicator: Illuminates to indicate faultless functioning
of the electrical circuit.
Water Process: After 30 seconds, if everything seems fine,
water purification begins.
UV lamp: In case of UV lamp failure the UV LED blinks.
Tank full: Illuminates to indicate when the tank is full.

Re-circulating Pump
Water is circulated through the UV Disinfection Column for

Enhanced Booster Pump

The new powerful Booster Pump drives water through the
membrane with high pressure to give 10 ltr. of purified water

Weight Sensor
The Weight Sensor controls the water level inside the tank
automatically and shuts off the Pump to avoid overflow when
the storage tank is full. It also resumes filtration when some
quantity of pure water is withdrawn from the tank.

Maintaining Your Aquaguard Total Duo

After installation, fill the tank and discard the first filling of the water from the storage
tank.

Do not place any heavy or sharp objects on the purifier.

Drain the water in the tank if it hasnt been used for over 2 days.

Ensure the replacement of the Particulate Filter, Pre Chemi Bloc and Clarity Cartridge
after approximately 6,000 litres of water usage (or if choked).

Ensure replacement of the Taste Enhancer Cartridge after 12,000 litres of water usage.

Ensure replacement of RO membrane after 6,000 litres of water usage. (Replacement

should be done by a trained Eureka Forbes service technician.)

Do not pull or push the water-dispensing lever with excessive force.

Ensure that the Reject Water Valves are cleaned thoroughly by a trained Eureka Forbes
service technician.

used for several purposes.

Washing clothes
The water flushed by Aquaguard Total DUO should not be used for washing clothes, as it is hard water which may affect the texture of the fabric.

UV purification uses a UV light source (lamp) which is enclosed in a quartz glass tube. The water passes through the UV Chamber and is
