ST JOHN VIANNEY CHURCH - WEST GREEN

PARISH ACTIVITIES DURING THIS SEASON OF LENT
Ash Wednesday Mass: Wednesday 10th February. A day of
Fasting & Abstinence. Ashes will be distributed at the 9:15am
and 7:30pm Masses. Service for children at 10:30am.
Sunday Mass: 6pm (Saturdays), 9am and 11am
Evening Mass at 7pm followed by Stations of the Cross: on
the following Fridays: 12th, 19th and 26th February and 4th and
11th March.
Mass with anointing of the Sick: Sat 20th Feb 12noon.
Passover Meal: As a Parish, we will remember how Jesus
celebrated the Passover with his disciples the night before he
died. This will take place on Wednesday 16th March at 7pm in
the Parish Hall. Tickets will be available soon.
Parish
retreat:
A
great
opportunity to prepare ourselves
for Easter. On the 14th February
1pm-2.30pm. We will have a
reflection for adults and activities
for children in the Parish hall.

 Guided prayer: Provides an opportunity

to develop your personal prayer life.
o Introductory meeting 21st February
10am 10:45am, in the Parish Hall.
o The guided prayer will be on Fridays 26th February and
4th, 11th, 18th March (either morning, afternoon, or
evening.)
o Final meeting on the 20th March 12:15 1pm in the
Parish Hall
Confession: every Saturday after 9:15am Mass
Penitential service: 18th March 7:30pm.
Adoration for the Year of Mercy: 24th February at 7pm in the
Verbum Dei Spiritually Centre (4a Vincent Road)
Formation for the Year of Mercy:
o 13th February at 6:45pm and 14th at 10am

o 12th March at 6:45pm and 13th at 10am.

24-hour Adoration of the Lord: on the 4th and 5th of March.
