Materials needed : scissors , glue sticks , colors
Anticipatory Setting: wrinkle up a heart each time
chrysanthemum gets hurt.
Objective : The students will create a flower to show
understanding of the book chrysanthemum in the given time
independently.
Relevancy: They will put kind words that they can use in the real
world.
modeling : having my own example to show them what the final
outcome will look like.
guided practice : what are kind words ?
independent practice : students can work on their flowers
independently.
assessment : Unique Flower
closure: reflect back on understanding of lesson
sponge : if any free time they are welcome to color their unique
flower.
