SCENE 1 - IN THE MIDST

Fades in
INT - Carpet forest - Day
Audio - Loud vacuum sound with dramatic music
The ants are holding onto the carpet for dear life while
being shaken from the changing direction.
CAMERA PANS ROUND TO
VIEW ALL OF THE ANTS
FROM LEFT TO RIGHT
The ants look at each other. Noticing Elizabeth is
struggling with holding on, sliding further down the carpet
strand
CAMERA ZOOMS TO A
CLOSE UP OF
ELIZABETH
CAMERA PANS TO SGT.
MLLER STILL IN CLOSE
UP
Being the closest to her Sgt. Miller reaches out as far as
he can to Elizabeth
SGT. MILLER
[Shouting] Grab my hand!
CAMERA ZOOMS OUT TO
SHOW JUST SGT MILLER
AND ELIZABETH
ELIZABETH
[Reaching out her hand]
[Screaming] I Cant reach it!
CAMERA CUTS TO A
CLOSE UP OF THEIR
HANDS THEN CUTS BACK
TO THE TWO ANTS
While trying to grab Sgt. Millers hand Elizabeth looses her
grip and is sucked up into the sky
CAMERA FOLLOWS
ELIZABETH GETTING

SUCKED UP INTO THE

DARKENSS
CAMERA CUTS TO SGT
MILLER IN CLOSE UP
SGT MILLER
[Distraught] Nooooo!
In his distress of seeing Elizabeth getting sucked up right
in front of him Sgt. Miller looses his grip on the carpet
and is sucked into the sky
CAMERA FOLLOWS SGT
MILLER GETTING
SUCKED UP INTO THE
DARKNESS
CAMERA PANS AROUND
TO A SHOT OF ANT
JONES AND WILFRED
After seeing half of their team sucked up into the sky Ant
Jones and Wilfred look at each other, nod, and without
saying a word willing let go and get sucked into the sky
CAMERA FOLLOWS AND
JONES AND WILFRED
GETTING SUCKED INTO
THE DARKNESS
THE CAMERA CONTINUS
TO ZOOM INTO THE
DARKNESS UNTIL THE
SCRENN IN NOTHING
BUT BLACK
SCREEN FADES TO FULL BLACK
VACUUM SOUND SLOWLY FADES OUT

SCENE 2 - THE MISSION

CAMERA FADES IN
INT - MISSION BREIFING ROOM
CAMERA IS AT THE
BACK OF THE BRIEFING
ROOM LOOKING TOWARDS
THE FRONT

The four ants are sitting in scattered chairs in the

briefing room which contains an incomplete map on the wall.
The ant General is pacing back and forth at the front of the
room.
GENERAL
[Pacing back and forth]
You're probably wondering why we've
gathered you four here today. I
regret to tell you that this
cologny is in food crisis and we
need assistance. You four have been
specifically hand picked to take
part in a mission that could alter
the life of this colony for the
better.
THE CAMERA CUTS TO
THE FRONT OF THE
CLASS TO SHOW THE
ANTS
The ants all look around at each other with confused faces
trying to work out what it could be.
CAMERA CUTS BACK TO
BACK OF THE ROOM
LOOKING AT THE
GENERAL
GENERAL
It is said that at the end of this
map
[Pointing to the map on the wall]
There is a legendary restaurant
that is said to have portions as
big as the entire colony.
[Short Pause]
What we need you to do, is find
them. Your team consists of the
famed Ant Jones and his assistant
Wilfred

ACROSS THE ANTS
STARTING AT AND
JONES AND WILFRED
You also have one of this colonys

our top navigation expert Miss
Elizabeth Crawler.

THE ROOM TO SHOW SGT
MILLER AND ELIZABETH
You four have a long journey to
prepare for. You will be departing
at the crack of dawn so go and get
a good nights sleep and prepare
yourself. And good luck to you all.
CAMERA CUTS TO THE
GENERAL DURING HIS
FINAL SPEECH
CAMERA CUTS BACK TO
THE ANTS AS THEY GET
UP AND LEAVE THE
ROOM
CAMERA FADES TO BLACK.

SCENE 3 - JOURNEY BEGINS

CAMERA RISES FROM GROUND BEHIND THE CHARACTERS
EXT - EXIT OF THE COLONY
CAMERA RISES FROM
GROUND TO REVIEL
SUNRISE WITH THE
CHARACTERS FACING
THE SUN
The ants are making the last final preparations making sure
they have everything, ready to set off. Ant Jones steps to
the front of the group and turns to face them
CAMERA CUTS TO ANT
JONES CLOSE UP
ANT JONES
We have a long journey ahead of us,
its not going to be easy, and its
going to be dangerous. I hope
you're all prepared for it. We know
where we're going up until the
giant building, but from there
we're on our own.

[Passionate and excited]

Now lets go!
CAMERA CUTS TO THE
OTHER THREE ANTS
The other three ants give nods of approval and with a look
of excitement mixed with fear in their eyes they set off
with Ant Jones.

BEHIND THE ANTS
SHOWING THEM
STARTING THEIR
JOURNEY
The ants are walking for a long time through the grass
forrest and to represent the passing of time frames of them
walking fade in and out in different positions of the screen
until finally they arrive at the base of the house.
THE CAMERA CUTS IN
AND PANS FROM THE
ANTS LOOKING UP AT
THE HOUSE TO THE
HOUSE
Stunned by how huge the house is the ants, apart from Ant
Jones, stand in disbelief staring up at the house.
CAMERA CUTS TO ANT
JONES CLOSE UP
Ant Jones is staring at the house but rather then looking up
he is looking at the base, where he has noticed a crack.
ANT JONES
There!
[Pointing at the crack]
CAMERA CUTS TO THE
CRACK IN THE WALL
FROM A MEDIUM
DISTANCE
Thats how we'll get in!
The other ants strain their eyes and look for the crack the
Ant Jones is talking about.
CAMERA PANS ALONG
THE THREE ANTS WITH

ANT JONES INFRONT OF

THEM
[Waving his arm to signal the
others] Lets go!
THE CAMERA CUTS TO
BEHIND THE ANTS
FOLLOWING THEM AT A
CONSISTANT DISANCE
We see the ants squeeze through the crack into the house
CAMERA FADES TO BLACK
SCENE 4 - IN THE HOUSE
CAMERA FADES IN
INT - THE HOUSE
CAMERA SHOWS THE
LAST ANT COMING OUT
OF THE CRACK WITH
THE REST INFRONT
After the last ant is out the crack the first the the ants
see if a thick forest of carpet
CAMERA PANS ROUND
THE ANTS TO SHOW THE
CARPET FORSET
CAMERA CUTS TO CLOSE
UP OF ANT JONES
ANT JONES
None of us know where we're going
from here and what could lye ahead.
We need to stick together and move
fast to try and find the resturant
as quickly as possible.
CAMERA CUTS TO A
SHOT OVER ANT JONES
SHOULDER TO SHOW THE
OTHER ANTS WHILE HE
IS ADRESSING THEM
I think we should head straight
into this forest ahead of us but
stay on gaurd. Is everyone ok with
that?
The other ants nod and they head towards the carpet forest

CAMERA PANS AROUND

FOLLOWING THE ANTS
ENTERING THE FOREST
Different shots of the ants travelling through the carpet
forest fade in and out on different parts of the screen to
represnt travlling for a long period of time.
THE SHOTS STOP
FADING IN AND OUT
AND SHOW THE ANTS
WALKING THROUGH THE
FOREST FROM BEHIND
THEM
While walking the ants notice a vacuum sound starting to
build up and get louder and louder. The wind is also
starting to pick up making the carpet lightly blow from side
to side
CAMERA CUTS TO ANTS
JONES CLOSE UP
ANT JONES
[Reassuring] Dont panic everyone,
it feels as if the wind is really
starting to pick up, we'll keep
moving but we may need to stop if
this gets worse.
CAMERA CUTS TO A
SIDE ON SHOT OF THE
ANTS WALKING
The ants continue walking but very quickly the wind picks up
and the ants are starting to feel as if they are starting to
be sucked up to the sky.
CAMERA PANS ALONG
ALL THE ANTS AND
STOPS AT ANT JONES
ANT JONES
[Slight Panic but keeping his cool]
Ok everyone we have to stop now!
Grab hold of anything you can and
dont let go whatever you do.
CAMERA CUTS FROM ANT
TO ANT GRABBING HOLD
OF STRANDS OF CARPET

As the ants start holding on the wind picks up greatly and

the ants start to be taken off of their feet
LOW CAMERA SHOT
PANNING ROUND TO
SHOW THE ANTS
HOLDING ON
The ants are screaming in a panic and the vacuum sound is
extremely loud, almost ear piercing for the ants.
THE CAMERA CUTS TO A
PERSON VACUUMING IN
THE CARPET AMD THE
SOUND IS LOWER
CAMERA CUTS BACK TO
THE AND AND THEN
BACK TO THE PERSON
VACUUMING THEN BACK
TO THE ANTS
Cut to opening scene.
SCENE 5 - INSIDE THE VACUUM
CAMERA FADES IN
INT - INSIDE THE VACUUM CLEANER
CAMERA FADES IN TO
DIM LIT ROOM WITH
ANT JONES PASSED OUT
FACE DOWN
Ant Jones slowly wakes up and lifts his head. He coughs due
to the dust and is shortly on his feet
ANT JONES
[To himself] Where am I? Where is
everyone?
CAMERA PANS AROUND
TO SHOW ANT JONES
PERSPECTIVE
Not being able to see too well Ant Jones calls out to the
ants
CAMERA CUTS TO ANT
JONES SHOUTING INTO
THE DIM LIGHT

ANT JONES
[Shouting] Wilfred! Elizabeth! Sgt.
Miller! Can any of you hear
me?![slight pause] Hello?! Are any
of you there?!
CAMERA IS LOOKING
INTO THE DIM LIGHT
WILFRED
Ant! Where are you?! Follow my
voice!
ANT JONES
Wilfred is that you! Im coming!
Ant Jones starts running to where the sound of the voice
came from
CAMERA FOLLOWS ANT
JONES RUNNING ALONG
ANT JONES
[Shouting] Wilfred!
WILFRED
[Shouting] Ant! Where are you?!
Ant gets closer and closer to the sound until he runs
straight into Wilfred, Sgt. Miller and Elizabeth.
CAMERA HAS A HIGH
ANGLE SHOT SHOWING
ALL FOUR ANTS
TOGETHER
ANT JONES
[Thrilled] I cant believe you're
all ok, im so happy!
The ants hug each other
ELIZABETH
[Excited] Ant have you looked
around?! We found it!!
ANT JONES
[Confused] Found out?
Ant Jones looks around at the floor and notices its
hundereds of crumbs from food, enough to feed the whole
colony for a year.

CAMERA CUTS DOWN TO

SHOW THE CRUMBS THEN
CUTS BACK UP TO THE
ANTS CELEBRATING
ANT JONES
[Shouting with excitement] We did
it! We found the restaurant!
The ants start cheering and celebrating while eating food.
While celebrating the ants notice something moving the the
shadows. The slowly stop eating and a silence comes over all
of them
CAMERA CUTS TO THE
DIM LIT ROOM AND
SHOWS A SHADOW
FIGURE MOVING IN THE
BACKGROUND
Two bright red eyes appear in the darkness and the ants here
a loud roar.
CAMERA CUTS TO THE
ANTS STANDING IN A
LINE
ANT JONES
[Calmly] I guess it's not over yet
you guys. Are you ready for this?
CAMERA FADES TO BLACK
'To Be Continued' appears on screen then fade to black.
