Notice of intention to resign from the FKF Electoral Board
Dear Chairman,
I hereby give Notice that I intend to step down as the Treasurer
and member of the FKF Electoral Board since my conscience can’t
allow me to continue serving and for the following reasons:-
1.1 wish to retaliate the contents of our letter dated 19"
January 2016 to FIFA which was signed by the majority of
board members, resulting in a teleconference with a senior
official of FIFA where, without any provocation, you used
vulgar language against one of the senior member of the
Board, an act which showed lack of respect candor, civility,
inability to accommodate different opinion general aloofness
and an attitude of a village chief.
2. The Board has been running headless because of your
inability to lead, make decisions or delay in doing so, taking
long sojourns well knowing that you have failed to appoint a
Vice Chair, your allergy to the official press leading to all and
sundry to depend on alternative press.
3.1 did send you the draft letter of 25™ January 2016 with
respect to funding and you only woke up yesterday, 4"
February 2016 to ask how far I had gone, yet it is your
responsibility to follow through on the funding. At the
moment therefore the Board is in a financial crisis and
cannot be able to conduct National Elections slated for 10
February 2016.
4. There has been interference with the election process under
your headless leadership which has now led to stalemate in
1Branch Elections which in some branches where there is a
tie, you are insisting on tossing of a coin. I have also had
embarrassing moments in court where sub branch
certificates were given to officials without elections having
been conducted. You have failed to lead and decide in the
electoral process and have left it to FKF and some
presidential candidates to dictate the process and which has
led to some candidates being disenfranchised.
5. There has been no preparation for the National Elections
due on Tuesday including giving preliminary advise to IED on
budget, venue, security, delegates, accreditations, observers,
and the fact that you do not work or communicate on Friday
and the weekend leads to a shut down of the electoral
process.
In view of the above reaséns, I’m unable to positively contribute
towards the electoral process to its finality and shall be advising
you of the date of my resignation since am under obligation to
defend the Board in tomorrow's Appeal’s and a constitutional
Petition which comes up on Tuesday. It is also very doubtful
whether the National Elections will be held on the 10" February
2016 because of your in
