Job Skills Checklist

Advising people, Analyzing data, Calculating numerical data/ Performing numeric
analysis, Imagining new solutions, Running meetings/conducting meetings,
Recommending courses of action, Summarizing information

I was tasked with advising the Account Supervisor for a national banking
brand on the direction their company should move in the 2016 fiscal year.
I sorted through previous years financial reports looking for points of
interest.
In these reports I broke down the finances into ratios relevant to current
activity, along with focusing on branch returns in order to find potential
room for growth/improvement.
I was asked to look at which branches were underperforming, what may be
causing this, and how to improve in the future whether through new
programs or consumer base growth.
I prepared presentations and full-length meetings with Account
Coordinators, Supervisors, and Managers to go over the summarized data
and more specific findings from the companys financial reports. The
meetings were two hours in length and let me recommend direct action that
the company should take moving forward to improve performance in both
current and new regions.

Interacting with people at different levels, Finding information, Dispensing
information, Reading volumes of materials, Taking personal responsibility, Being
thorough, Editing work, Preparing written communications.

Was tasked with researching advertisement information regarding air travel
in order to pinpoint potential advertisers for future editions of the clients
magazine, as well as creative audits of competitor creative/advertisement
history.
Relayed this information to my supervisors and the CEO of the company in a
timely manner, and in an appropriate manner for the information being
collected.
This relay of information was completed with no supervision from a
superior.
After the collection and relay of information I would make sure that
everything I collected was accurate, thorough, and insightful. I then
prepared written communications to all involved parties in order to ensure
they received the relevant materials.

Prioritizing work, Knowledge of concepts and principles

On a daily basis I was tasked with working on multiple projects. Each project
varied from the other and dealt with different departments and clients
within our own company as well as the clients.
In each project I had to demonstrate knowledge of multiple fields of
marketing, ranging from basic research to assisting on multi-channel
campaign asset development.

Dear Indigo Slate,

I am writing in response to your posting about an Account Coordinator position. I
believe that my marketing/advertising education at Washington State University,
my time spent working alongside veteran marketing professionals in an agency
setting, along with my desire to learn and grow as a prospective employee make me
the perfect fit for Indigo Slate.

My education at Washington State University allows me to experience every aspect
of the marketing world, including marketing research, data analytics, multi-channel
campaign implementation, among a variety of others. I have completed, and
continue to complete, upper division projects focusing on market research along
with creating/implementing a mock full-scale brand audit and integrated campaign
with the intent of improving company stock, standing, and stature in their market.

These skills that I learned also allowed me to seamlessly intern at DNA Seattle, a
regional advertising firm that is also strong rooted nationally with a wide list of
clients. During my time here I was able to analytically inspect client financial
performance along with any potential weak points in order to help
recommend/develop their 2016 national campaign, along with organizing my
findings in professionally developed presentations for account executives. I also
worked along side the Accounts Team in order to create, edit, and distribute assets
for multi-channel campaigns.

The attached resume delves into more detail on my work history, my experiences,
and my professional interests in the marketing/advertising industry. I look forward
to discussing this position further, and toward future communications between us. I
