To Whom it May Concern,

This is a letter of reference for Samantha-Rae Adamson regarding her
employment as a teacher. I am her Faculty Advisor from the University of
Manitoba and have known Samantha for five months.
Samantha is a very dedicated person who is punctual and presents a
pleasant demeanour. She is serious about the profession and is willing to put
in the time for personal development such as attending PD days and
conferencing with colleagues and peers. Samantha self-reflects to develop
her professional understanding and to constantly improve her skills. She also
has experience in communicating with parents.
Samantha is aware of and follows school rules and policies. She sees value in
working as a team when possible and has a very good working relationship
with staff members. Samantha has a caring teacher persona and establishes
a respectful atmosphere in the classroom. She has developed good and
effective relationships with students and has gained their trust.
Samantha has developed lesson plans which take into consideration the
different needs and learning styles of students in order to help them achieve
success. She is able to apply curricular outcomes to her lessons and
assessments. Samantha is able to develop a unit plan with proper timelines
and assessment pieces.
It has been my experience that Samantha is a very cooperative, dependable
and hard-working Teacher Candidate. She possesses a strong work ethic and
is continuously seeking to learn and to improve her teaching skills, as is
required by any staff member.
