To obtain the key, Figaro volunteers to fetch the shaving basin and purposely breaks one of Dr. Bartolos vases; while the doctor is bewildered, Don Almaviva, who is disguised as Lindoro, reveals their plan of escape to Rosalinda. This is very crucial step in order for them to be together since Dr. Bartolo confines the lady in his house in secret plan to marry her. With the key to unlock the many chances of their affair, they are able to abduct Rosalinda ,and Lindoro unveils himself as Don Almaviva ,and the two exchange their vows that settles the dispute. Although there are little tension along the road, if not for Figaros peculiar thoughts and tenacious actions, Don Almaviva and Rosalindas love story would not be possible.
