& ANTITYPES
GENESIS:
The Original Earth
In the beginning God created the heavens and the
earth. (Gen.1:1)
The New Earth
"Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth.
The former things will not be remembered, nor will
they come to mind. (Isa.65:17)
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first
heaven and the first earth had passed away, and
there was no longer any sea. (Rev.21:1)
Adam - The First Man: Adam tasted the fruit and tasted
death.
Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the
time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by
breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of
the one to come. (Romans 5:14)
Christ The Last Adam: Christ tasted death knowing that
His bride, the Church, would experience life.
So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being";
the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. (1 Cor.15:45)
Cain
Moses
Resurrected Saints
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with
a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and
with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ
will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are
left will be caught up together with them in the
clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be
with the Lord forever. (1 Thess.4:16-17)

your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to
the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering
on one of the mountains I will tell you about. (Gen.22:1-2)
The Spirit seed:
By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a
sacrifice. He who had received the promises was about to
sacrifice his one and only son, even though God had said to

the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God,
cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so
that we may serve the living God! (Heb.9:14)

sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

TYPES &
ANTITYPES
4.
Christ: our Sin Offering
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that
we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by
his wounds you have been healed. (1 Pet.2:24)
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in
him we might become the righteousness of God.
(2 Cor.5:21)
The high priest carries the blood of animals into the
Most Holy Place as a sin offering, but the bodies are
burned outside the camp. And so Jesus also suffered
outside the city gate to make the people holy
through his own blood. (Heb.13:11-12)
THE 7 FEASTS:
3. First Fruits: was the day after the Sabbath (Sunday)
The LORD said to Moses, "Speak to the Israelites and say to
them: 'When you enter the land I am going to give you and
you reap its harvest, bring to the priest a sheaf of the first
grain you harvest. He is to wave the sheaf before the LORD
so it will be accepted on your behalf; the priest is to wave
it on the day after the Sabbath. On the day you wave the
sheaf, you must sacrifice as a burnt offering to the LORD a
lamb a year old without defect, together with its grain
offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with
oilan offering made to the LORD by fire, a pleasing
aromaand its drink offering of a quarter of a hin of wine.
You must not eat any bread, or roasted or new grain, until
the very day you bring this offering to your God. This is to
be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come,
wherever you live. (Lev.23:9-14)
THE 7 FEASTS:
3. Christ: rose the first day of the week. The First Fruits.
For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.
But each in his own turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then,
when he comes, those who belong to him.
(1 Cor.15:22-23)
THE 7 FEASTS:
4. Pentecost: wave loaves containing leaven signified sin
" 'From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought
the sheaf of the wave offering, count off seven full
weeks. Count off fifty days up to the day after the
seventh Sabbath, and then present an offering of
new grain to the LORD. From wherever you live,
bring two loaves made of two-tenths of an ephah of
fine flour, baked with yeast, as a wave offering of
firstfruits to the LORD. Present with this bread seven
male lambs, each a year old and without defect, one
young bull and two rams. They will be a burnt
offering to the LORD, together with their grain
offerings and drink offeringsan offering made by
fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD. (Lev.23:15-18)
(see all of Lev.23:15-22)
THE 7 FEASTS:
4. Pentecost: First fruits of the Church harvest (3,000
converts)
He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that
we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.
(James 1:18)
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together
in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a
violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole
house where they were sitting. They saw what
seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and
came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled
with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other
tongues as the Spirit enabled them. (Acts 2:1-4)
THE 7 FEASTS:
5. Trumpets: signifies the regathering of Israel
The LORD said to Moses, "Say to the Israelites: 'On the
first day of the seventh month you are to have a day
of rest, a sacred assembly commemorated with
trumpet blasts. Do no regular work, but present an
offering made to the LORD by fire.' " (Lev.23:23-25)
THE 7 FEASTS:
5. Regathering of Israel: will be called back to their own land
"Immediately after the distress of those days" 'the sun will be
darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will
fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be
shaken. "At that time the sign of the Son of Man will
appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will
mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds
of the sky, with power and great glory. And he will send his
angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his
elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to
the other. (Matthew 24:29-31)
I will bring back my exiled people Israel; they will rebuild the
ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and
drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit.
I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be
uprooted from the land I have given them," says the LORD
your God. (Amos 9:14-15) (see Jer.16:14-15; Jer.30:10-11;
Isa.11:11)
THE 7 FEASTS:
6. Day of Atonement: atonement is made for you
The LORD said to Moses, "The tenth day of this seventh month
is the Day of Atonement. Hold a sacred assembly and deny
yourselves, and present an offering made to the LORD by
fire. Do no work on that day, because it is the Day of
Atonement, when atonement is made for you before the
LORD your God. Anyone who does not deny himself on that
day must be cut off from his people. I will destroy from
among his people anyone who does any work on that day.
You shall do no work at all. This is to be a lasting ordinance
for the generations to come, wherever you live. It is a
sabbath of rest for you, and you must deny yourselves.
From the evening of the ninth day of the month until the
following evening you are to observe your sabbath."
(Lev.23:26-32)
THE 7 FEASTS:
6. Christ: our Great High Priest
- sin offering goat: signifies Christs death
- scape goat: his carrying away of our sins.
THE 7 FEASTS:

" 'So beginning with the fifteenth day of the seventh month,
after you have gathered the crops of the land, celebrate
the festival to the LORD for seven days; the first day is a
day of rest, and the eighth day also is a day of rest. On
the first day you are to take choice fruit from the trees,
and palm fronds, leafy branches and poplars, and rejoice
before the LORD your God for seven days. Celebrate this
as a festival to the LORD for seven days each year. This is
to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come;
celebrate it in the seventh month. Live in booths for
seven days: All native-born Israelites are to live in booths
so your descendants will know that I had the Israelites
live in booths when I brought them out of Egypt. I am the
LORD your God.' " (Lev.23:39-43) (see Lev.23:33-38)
THE 7 FEASTS:
7. Israels 1,000 year Millennial Rest: planted never to be
uprooted
"The days are coming," declares the LORD, "when the
reaper will be overtaken by the plowman and the
planter by the one treading grapes. New wine will
drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills. I
will bring back my exiled people Israel; they will
rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will
plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make
gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant Israel in their
own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I
have given them," says the LORD your God. (Amos
9:13-15) (see Zech.14:16-21)
TYPES
& ANTITYPES
GENERAL TYPES:
The Brazen Serpent:
Then the LORD sent venomous snakes among them; they
bit the people and many Israelites died. The people
came to Moses and said, "We sinned when we spoke
against the LORD and against you. Pray that the
LORD will take the snakes away from us." So Moses
prayed for the people. The LORD said to Moses,
"Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who
is bitten can look at it and live." So Moses made a
bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when
anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the
bronze snake, he lived. (Num.21:6-9)
The Uplifted Christ:
Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the
Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who
believes in him may have eternal life. (John 3:14-15)
Cities of Refuge:
"Six of the towns you give the Levites will be cities of refuge,
to which a person who has killed someone may flee. In
addition, give them forty-two other towns. (Num.35:6)
God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it
is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take
hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly
encouraged. (Heb.6:18) (see Josh.20:1-9)
The City of Petra: God will provide refuge for Jewish
remnant during Tribulation (time of Jacobs trouble
Jer.30:7)
She (Israel) gave birth to a son, a male child, (Christ) who
will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her
child was snatched up to God and to his throne. The
woman fled into the desert to a place prepared for her
by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260
days. (Rev.12:5-6) (see Rev.12:1-6)
