EA sports

SIMCITY 5, 1.1 million copies sold with 50% of sales from digital downloads.
A promotional offer was setup in the website to generate more pre-orders. The
strategy failed to attract more customers.
Different variations of the website was tested with the pre-order banner in different
locations and one without the offer.
The page with no promotional offer improved the sales by 43.4%.

Goal was to increase website visitors into subscribers
The website was divided in three variations with three different words- Learn more ,
Sign Up Now, Join Us Now on each page.
The Learn More Sign along with a black and white photo of Obama instead of a color
one and a video, led to an increase of signups by 40%.

The $300,000,000 button


An E-Commerce website required customers to register just before the check-out page.
The design team simply removed the button and the sales went up to 45%, $15 million in
the first month and $300,000,000 million in first year.
