Approval of minutes
The minutes for the meeting held 15 December 2015 were approved without
amendment.

Swimmer, Ross Davenport, gave us a candid and engaging insight into his Olympic
story. Despite the on-site IT kit failing last night, Belper-born Ross, undaunted, told
us of his journey - that of a six year old with a natural talent for swimming (but a
yearning for football) who went on to become an Olympic competitor and
Commonwealth double gold medal winner. Ross has represented Great Britain at 3
Olympic Games and impressed us all with his blend of genuine humility and worldclass achievement.
Ross will be running the London Marathon in April in support of his chosen charity,

Voting for your choice of the National Federation Resolutions slips provided
On Notice Board the Federation invited us to nominate for Election of
Members to the Board of Trustees to be submitted mid-February
Choir continuation. Beate has kindly offered to help from February, on either
a Monday or Tuesday, please sign up on sheet provided if youre interested.
Gardening Group: Starting 25 April with a twilight tour at 6pm at Meynell
Langley Garden Centre. Signup sheet at back.
Social Night Out talk to Viv: Belly Dancing at Ockbrook on Saturday 9 April.
10/person, 10 people needed.

Wine Tasting, unable to arrange as group meeting. Planning for a Social Night
Out.
Craft, Sewing, Knit and Natter combined group every 2nd Wednesday 7-9pm at
the Weston Centre
Jam Making, now extended to Cookery Club, chat to Helen with ideas
Thursday @ 2pm Book Club, 2 places available. Call Jodi if interested
Walking Group, next one 22 January 9h30 round Darley Park

Points of information

Christmas Feedback: A big Thankyou from Padley Centre for the donations.
Also from Aquabox, Jan delivered collected items to the warehouse in
Wirksworth
Also, linked to Charity Support, if you have any ideas, please let us know by
May so we can arrange speakers
Room Size, Jan and Gail will be reviewing possible use of other venues.
Next meeting in St Margarets on Tuesday 16 February 2016
