Teaching has required a very organized and well planned daily routine.

I created the curriculum to fit schedule and budget.

Incorporated current strategies into my classroom management plan.
Held an art show for both first and second semester students.

Incorporated Technology:
Adobe Creative Suite programs: Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Flash, Microsoft Publisher.
Smart Board Training
Video recording and editing of all school activities including the music department DVD.

Strong lessons taught:

Figure Drawing: The students model for each other in the room while the rest of the class draws. This is about a 3 week lesson
ranging from gesture, to contour line to more detailed drawings using value and texture.

Painting: I am a painter and love to teach the use of color. I am a stickler for using simple palates and learning to mix and
manipulate colors to achieve a desired effect. Simple flowers don't cut it in my art room and I expect the best from my students
when it comes to learning the essential techniques necessary for quality art.
