foster a personalized, holistic, and innovative approach to learning. We are able to achieve these goals, in earnest, by partnering with organizations and individuals who not only understand the purpose of our mission, but are also committed to the practice of equity and inclusion. PPS is seeking partnerships that will consider and honor the social, economic, and environmental impact of our programs, projects, and policies, partnerships that will significantly influence the educational experience of our students, faculty, staff, parents, and other affiliates. In the spirit of equity and inclusion, we are not defined by one approach toward partnership. While we aspire to create relationships that build upon and maintain the financial health of our school community, we also appreciate and respect that not all successful partnerships are financial. Our primary focus is to establish partnerships that will substantively contribute to the academic, social, and emotional development of our students. This contribution might manifest as a onetime donation, an ongoing sponsorship, an internship opportunity, or a speaking engagement the possibilities are endless! Ultimately, however, we endeavor to create opportunities and experiences that pave multiple pathways for our scholars to succeed as leaders, artists, activists, etc.and we hope that this endeavor feels collaborative and reciprocal.
As defined by Tony Wagner, educator and
expert-in-residence at Harvard Universitys New Innovation Lab, deeper learning captures the nuances, the ideas, and the energy behind an entire effort to fundamentally rethink the most important outcomes in education for the 21st century, If you are interested in helping to define what deeper learning looks and feels like at PPS, or if you would like to better understand how you might sponsor an already-established program, we invite you to be in touch with Ms. Eliza Jackson (ejackson@pps.org), our Director of Community Engagement and Civic Responsibility. We thank you for considering this opportunity to build together, and we look forward to collaborating on initiatives that will facilitate and bolster the strength of our academic and non-academic programs at Purpose Preparatory School.
