old tubes of toothpaste,

containers, mouthwash
containers, and any of the
packing for these items to be
recycled and made into
benches, pencil pouches,
garbage cans, and more via
Terracycle. A collection bin is
located in the school lobby.

Science: Dental Health
Social Studies: Harriet Tubman
Reading: We will compare and contrast two
texts on one topic and compare and contrast
two characters from two texts.

Writing: We will learn where commas go in
sentences when we have items in a series
(The cat, dog, and frog are animals),
commas in dates and cities, and we will
publish our writing using the ipad apps of
Seesaw and Book Creator.
Math (advanced): Place Value and
Different ways to represent a three or four

Important Events: Field Trip (3rd), Valentine Exchange (11th),


Science Zone (24th and 25th) , Teacher Workday (12th),
Presidents Day (15th)

Please make sure your child comes to school with


appropriate recess attire (coats, hats, gloves, closed toed
shoes, etc.). Please put your childs name on all items as
well, as many students are losing their items.
