Feb.12th 100th day
of school party!

Dear Parents:

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.


Last week the kids enjoyed learning about
the letter P. We loved making our own
penguins and reading about polar bears!
This week we are celebrating the 100th day
of school! Yaaaay! Yes,we made it that far!

Literacy Inquiry:

This week we will be reviewing all the letters


and sight words we have learned so far.
The kids will be working on their journals, their
wordbooks and many more fun activities to
review what they have been studying.

Math Inquiry:

In math, the kids will review the math concepts


we have been learning. They will be practicing
patterns, sorting, 2D and 3D shapes, counting,
one to one correspondence and
measurement.

Unit of Inquiry:

Library day:

Central Idea: The interdependence of


insects and other living things impact our
environment. This week we will be reviewing
what we have been learning about insects and
interdependence. We will review the physical
characteristics of insects and the butterfly
life cycle. We will also discuss the meaning of
interdependence in a kid friendly version.
