CROSS COUNTRY TURNOUT

For all levels

Rider
Helmet in any colour, with any style of hair.
Protective vest over a long or short sleeved shirt in any colour. See resources
section for a female vest made by Jenny Maywood.
Breeches in any colour
Long boots in any colour
Gloves in any colours (optional before intermediate)
Whip if desired.
Forbidden Forgetting any mandatory equipment or equipment likely to cause danger
or injury, whips longer than 75cm, rowel spurs.

Horse
Black or brown saddle, ideally in jumping style, but all-round is permissible.
Matching bridle with any english bit (or bitless). Levels intermediate and above
may use double bridles or bridle+hackamore if desired.
Saddle pad in any colour. Any shape allowed
Leg protection in any colour mandatory on all four legs in this style:

For non edited (and edited if you dont want to edit those boots), you may use the

medicinal boots made by Alastair Schrdinger or mix some thin polo wraps with
stadium boots (make them the same color) to give illusion of hard shell tall leg
protections.

NOTE: Polo wraps alone or open stadium boots alone are not allowed and will be
penalized.

English style breast collar with or without a running, irish or bib martingale if
desired.
Lamb-skin accessories, eventing grease, nasal strips etc. if desired.
Mane or tail may be loose or braided at riders discretion.

Forbidden Blinkers, additional reins or aids (balancing, running or side reins), tongue
straps or any other form of tongue restriction, forgetting any equipment, any other
attachments eg. standing martingale.
