Cracker Barrel’s image is that of an old, country general store, from the porches with rocking chairs to the
decorative fixtures on the inside. Our Guests also expect the dress and appearance of our Employees to be
consistent with this image. Because this is a service-oriented company:
Here is a non-inclusive description of proper Cracker Barrel dress code, but remember that your store
Managers have final say on whether you are dressed properly.

• No high heels.
Exceptions:
• Concerns with regard to your ability to conform to the company's dress code requirements for any reason (including for disability or
religious reasons) should be raised with your direct supervisor or your Field HR Manager.

Color Options: Rising Star and Par 1:
Pink • Oxford shirt in Pink, Yellow, and Blue (white shirts are NOT
allowed) -OR- Black polo
Yellow
• All but the top button must be buttoned.
Blue • Polo shirts:
• Must not have colored borders or accents.
• Must not have prints or marled/heather fabric.
• May have a small brand logo on the chest if it is smaller than 1”x1”
(no logos of sports teams or other restaurants).
• Must not have logos on the sleeves or back.
• Oxford shirts:
• Must have button down collar.
• Must be tucked in.
• Long or short sleeves.
• If long sleeves are rolled - cuff must be rolled under, no more
than 2 cuffs or not at all.
• No silk, or frilled shirts are permitted.
Skirts:
• No high heels.
Hair:
Aprons:
Jewelry/Make-up:
• Females may wear make-up but not wear excessive make-up or ornamentation.
• Watches, earrings and/or rings with stones or decorative settings are NOT allowed when performing dishwashing or
food preparation duties.
• One plain band may be worn on one hand.
Nails:
• Food handlers (Employees who work with unpackaged food, food equipment or utensils, or food-contact surfaces)
may not wear fingernail polish or artificial fingernails.
