I have known and worked with Shannon for four years and there has been tremendous growth in talent, hard work, social skills and maturity. Shannon excels in writing and theatre as well as having an extreme amount of interest in music and fantasy. It seemed all too appropriate for Shannon to choose a Senior Project where she can use all of her interests, Shannon adapted a music video called “Alice in Musicland” and put her own idea of using Santa Susana High School as a base for the adaptation and called it “Alice at SSHS.” She demonstrated some very good leadership qualities and had definite ideas on what she wanted from her cast and the process of creating these characters. Moreover, the process of directing and producing a show proved to be not only a challenge but a success for Shannon. After discussing the procedures and ideas needed for auditions, directing, and casting, Shannon was well on her way to success. In closing, I feel with great pride, that with Shannon’s intelligence, respect, hard work and determination, she will be successful in any endeavor she pursues in her future.
