    Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Vacuum Regulator Solenoid4.0L SOHC, Vehicles Built After 03/2002
    Removal and Installation
    1.

    Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Section 414-01.

    2.

    Remove the accelerator splash shield.

    3.

    Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) vacuum regulator solenoid.


    Disconnect the electrical connector.
    Disconnect the vacuum lines.

    4.

    Remove the bolt and remove the EGR vacuum regulator soleniod.

    5.

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
