Letter of Recommendation for Carolyn Dirienzo

Carolyn Dirienzo will be an asset to any school where she is employed. Carolyn has been our
summer weekday babysitter since 2011. She has also been our occasional weekend babysitter
during the school year while she was in high school and still continues to provide child care for us
when she is home on breaks from college. When she began working for us, our older set of twin
boys were 8 and our younger set of twin boys were 5. Her responsibilities include supervising play,
cooking meals, and driving them to their activities.

She has a wonderful way of interacting with children. Carolyn is very patient and good at helping
my boys learn how to resolve their conflicts peacefully. All four of my children look forward to
spending time with her because she engages with them in games and creative endeavors such as
crafts and baking projects. She remembers their interests and enquires about them at her next
visit.

As an employer, I am impressed with her ability to be flexible when things do not go as planned.
She is conscientious about completing all of her duties. Carolyn is also dependable and punctual.
Her positive attitude is contagious.

If Carolyn were to work in our school district, I would have no reservations about her being my
childs teacher. In fact, I would welcome the opportunity.
