- Continuous flow of clean filtered air through the fuel tank


- Do not enter fuel tank until the fuel vapor level is less than 10% LEL
- Put on an air-supplied respirator unless fuel tank is in health-safe condition

- List all the tools prior fuel tank entrance.


- All equipment used inside the tank must be scrupulously clean.
- Use protective mats on fuel tank floor to prevent damages to the structure
- Do not touch or push against magnetic level indicators to prevent damages
- Internal fuel lines should be removed where access is restricted.
- Do not damage bonding straps
