DUAS

FORGIVENESS

O Allah! We ask You to forgive our sins before we leave this place. Let our
good efforts be met with Your gratitude, our good deeds be profitable, and our
deeds successful. O You The Most Merciful. (1)
O Allah! Make my efforts worthy of acceptance, and my sins forgiven, my
deeds accepted, and my flaws concealed. O The Best of those who hear. (2)
O Allah! Forgive me because You love forgiveness and You are All Forgiving.
(3).
My Lord, grant me forgiveness and turn towards me. You are indeed The OftReturning, Most Merciful. (4)
O Allah I am asking You - O Allah, The One. The Eternal Absolute and The
One Who begets not and Who is not begotten, there is none like unto You to
forgive my sins, verily You are Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. (5)
O Allah! You are my Lord, there is no deity worthy of worship but You. You
created me and I am Your servant, and I am faithful to my covenant and my
promise (to You) as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from all the evil I have
done. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me,
and I confess to You all my sins. Grant me forgiveness for nobody can forgive
sins except You. (6)
O Allah! Forgive my past and future sins and whatever I have done in secret,

and whatever I have done in public. You are The One Who brings forward
and Who delays, there is no deity worthy of worship but You. (7)
O Allah! I have done great injustice to myself. No one forgives sin but You, so
grant me forgiveness from Your Presence, and show mercy upon me; You are
indeed The Oft-Forgiving. (8)

O Allah! Cleanse my heart with water of snow and hail, and cleanse my heart
from all sins as a white cloth is cleansed from dirt. Distance me and my sins as
You have distanced the East from the West. (9)
O Allah! I seek refuge in You from knowingly (or unknowingly) associating
anything unto You, and ask Your forgiveness for what I do not know. (10)
O Allah! Grant me forgiveness and show mercy on me. Grant me well-being,
and grant me provision. (11)

THE QURAN
O Allah! Make the Holy Quran the delight of my heart, the light of my soul
and the relief of my sorrow and grief. (12)
O Allah! Help us to recite the Holy Quran all day and night in the way that
pleases Your Lordship.
O Allah! Let it be a cure for our hearts and a remedy for our diseases and let it
be our saviour from the Fire. (1)
O Allah! Let us be amongst the people of the Quran who are the closest people
to You. O You The Merciful of all. (1)
O Allah! Let us be of those who do Halaal things mentioned in the Quran and
avoid Haraam things mentioned in it. Let us be of those who recite it well and
understand its clear meanings, as well as the hidden ones. (1)
O Allah! Make victorious Your religion, Your Book (the Quran) and the

Sunnah of Your Prophet Muhammad. (1)

O Allah! Take me closer towards Your pleasure, and keep me away from Your
anger and punishment. Grant me the opportunity to recite Your verses (of the
Quran), by Your Mercy, O The Most Merciful. (2)

THIS LIFE / THE HEREAFTER

O Allah! We ask You for everything that is good, in this life and the Hereafter,
whether we know it or not; and we seek Your protection from everything that
is bad, in this world or the Hereafter, whether we know it or not. (1)
O Allah, by Your Mercy! Make things easy for us and help us do anything that
pleases you and is good for us in this world and the Hereafter. (1)
O Allah! Set right our religion that guards our souls from sins, make this world
where we live better for us and make the Hereafter to where we return better
for us. Let life be a cause for more good, and let death put an end to any evil
that may befall on us. (1)
O Allah! Make our last days better in all aspects, and spare us from
humiliation in this world and punishment in the Hereafter. (1)
O Allah! Keep us firm with the word that stands firm in this world and in the
Hereafter, and make us of the saved ones. (1)

DEATH
O Allah! We ask you for full Eeman (faith), true conviction, acceptable deeds
and true repentance before death; rest and ease on death; and forgiveness and
mercy after death. (1)
O Allah! Purify our hearts, cover our defects, forgive our sins and let the last of
our deeds be the best.
best O Lord of the worlds. (1)
O Allah! Let our last days be the best days of our life, and our last deeds be the
best of our deeds. And the best day, the day we meet You. (1)
O Allah! You are our refuge when all doors are closed in our face. You are our
hope when we become separated from our loved ones and left alone to face
our fate after death. Where no good deeds can be accepted any more. (1)
O Allah! Make the agony of death easy for us and take our souls while You are
pleased with us. (1)
O Allah! Let us live as Muslims and die as Muslims without disgracing or
subjecting us to temptations. (1)
O Allah! Cleanse my heart from the sickness of arrogance and pride, and let
me die as a sincere, humble Muslim. (2)
O Allah! Keep me alive in humility, and cause me to die in humility, and raise
me amongst those who are humble. (13)

THE GRAVE / JUDGEMENT DAY

O Allah! Let the grave be our best home after death, make its narrow vaults wide and
spacious.
O Allah! Have mercy on us when we stand humble on the Day of Judgement, make
our feet go steady on the narrow path of Siraat, save us from the agonies of the Day
of Judgement and make our faces white when the faces of the criminals and
disbelievers become black.
O Allah! Let us have an ever quenching drink from the Haud (pool) of Your Prophet
Muhammad. (1)
O Allah! Light the graves of Muslims who have died, and be merciful and make life
easier for those who are still alive. (1)
O Allah! Have Mercy on those Muslims who have died believing that there is no god
other than You, and that Prophet Muhammad is Your Messenger.
O Allah! Have mercy on them and forgive their sins, make them right and cast Your
pardon upon them. Let them rest in peace, make their access wide enough and wash
them with rain water, snow and ice; clean them from sins as a white dress is cleaned
from dirt. (1)
O Allah! Let their graves be spacious and full of light and joy so they rest in peace till
they are raised up secured on the day of Resurrection. We ask You to have Mercy on
us too when we will become like them under earth..lonely and helpless, as no
more deeds are allowed. (1)
O Allah! Let my account be taken by an easy reckoning. (14)
O Allah! I seek refuge with You from the punishment of the Fire, the afflictions of the
grave, the punishment of the grave, the evil of the affliction of poverty and from the
evil of the affliction caused by Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal. (15)
O Allah! Deliver me from Your punishment the Day You raise Your servants. (16)

HELL/PARADISE
O Allah! We ask You to be pleased with us, reward us with Paradise and we
seek Your refuge from Your anger and the punishment of the Fire. (1)
O Allah! We ask You for Paradise, and to bring us closer to it by any act or
saying; and protect us from the Fire and from any act or saying that brings us
closer to it. (1)
O Allah! You hear our supplications even before we utter them as You can
cover the dry bones with flesh. We call You to spare our necks, and those of
our parents, and of all Muslims from the fire of Hell. (1)
O Allah! On this day, open for me the doors of the Heavens, and lock the doors
of Hell from me. Help me to recite the Quran, O The One Who sends down
tranquility into the hearts of the believers. (2)
O Allah! I am asking You, for to You belongs all praise, there is none worthy of
worship but You, You are One, there is no partner unto You, The Benefactor, O
Majesty, Honour and Bounty, The Living, the Self-Subsisting, I am asking You
(for) Paradise and seek refuge from Hell. (17)
O Allah! I ask You for all the good that is near and that which is far, the one of
which I know of and the one I do not.
O Allah! I ask You for the good of what Your Prophet and Servant asked of,
and I seek refuge in You from the evils of which Your Prophet and Servant
asked of.
O Allah! I ask You for Paradise and for such deeds and sayings that will bring
me closer to it, and I seek refuge in You from the deeds and sayings which
would take me further from it. I ask You to make all decisions good for me.

meet Your satisfaction; spare us from Your punishment and from the Fire of
Hell and let our final abode be in Your Paradise. (1)

to elapse. (1)

O Allah! Let us be steadfast on the right path all the time, whether during
Ramadhaan or other than Ramadhaan. (1)

FOR OURSELVES
O Allah! Give us piety and purify our souls. You are The Master and Lord of
the souls. O Allah! We seek Your guard from vain knowledge, lack of fearing
You, and from having an unsatisfied soul, and an unanswered supplication.
(19)
O Allah! Let us be satisfied with the Halaal (permissible) and separate us from
the Haraam (prohibited). Enrich us with Your favours so that we wont be in
need of anyone else. (1)
O Allah! We ask You that we may do charitable (good) works and avoid
objectionable deeds. We ask for Your forgiveness and blessings. O Allah! If
You want to test our Faith, it is better for us to die than to fail the test.

illnesses. (1)

easy for us. (1)

those who asked for Your guidance and were guided; who sought Your victory
and were given; who relied on You and were

even for the blinking of an eye. Facilitate all my affairs, there is no deity
worthy of worship but You. (25)

light behind me, and cast light in my soul. And give me immense light. (27)
O Allah! Set right my religion which is the basis of my affairs, set right my

what is not answered; from a soul which is not satisfied; and from knowledge
that is of no benefit. I seek refuge in You from all these four. (31)
O Allah! I seek refuge in You from appalling character; deeds; desires; and
diseases. (32)

Who else can we call or ask from while You are The Most Generous. (1)
