Rodin was nearsighted and often struggled to learn in school.
Drawing became his comfort
Applied to an art school in France three separate times, and was
rejected all three of them.
His sculptures often controversial at the time for being too realistic
His most famous sculpture was created in 1880.

CHRISTIAN DIOR

Born January, 21, 1905


French citizen who owned an art gallery.
He often sketched out designs for womens clothing, but was too busy
with his gallery to pursue a career in fashion
He began selling his fashion sketches to make money
He became a designer under Robert Piuget
Dior was known for taking women whose fashion had been restricted
during WWII and making it luxurious again.
From flat to poofy!

GEORGE SEURAT

Born September 2nd, 1859


Had been in art school, but decided to pursue his own artistic style
Learned much off of the styles of Claude Monet and other artists of the
time.
