INTRODUCTION:
• The prime over is a diesel engine
• Diesel Engine
• In this diesel engine prime over drives a an electric generator
whose out put provides power to the traction motors.
• Electric loco motive
• Belts:
• belt should never ride the bottom of the grooves .

• RTTM blower is the Rear Track Traction
Motors
• Which is at the rear side of the engine of the
rail bus
• Viewed in two parts.
• They are totally 6 traction motors which are
responsible for the moment of the rail engine.

BLOWER:

• Slipping of the V-belts from the driven


pulleys
• Damaging of the driven pulley
• Breaking of the impeller shaft
• Blocking of the front and back side
bearings.
