There is no compatibility or similarity between Islamic and western sciences
Because we believe that west wants to study human beings.

 Western sciences derive their methods from human beings

Human beings are rational and autonomous, and the method from which they study
humans is derived from human beings themselves. Not from God, prophet, animal or
any other agency. There is no supernatural method (self evident).

 This fact traces its root in enlightment

The Enlightenment is a term used to describe a time in Western philosophy and

cultural life, centered upon the eighteenth century. It was an intellectual movement,
French revolution came due to this and other western revolution. It gained power due
to American movement and bring about French movement. The two main figures of
this period are
DAVID HUME and KANT

 David hume says ,” nothing exits (except sensation)”

David Hume, originally David Home, son of Joseph Home of Chirnside, advocate, and
Katherine Lady Falconer, was born on 26 April 1711.He was a britisher who was working in
tradition which is called British Supericism. He says there is only one reality that is sensations.
Information gained through five senses (touch, feel, smell, hear, sight) we can know the reality
of things. Certainity by relying on sensations. No believe in God. Beyond sensation nothing
exists.

 Kant says ,”Mental structure impose their structure on the world

and he presumes a rational self which make universal laws

Immanuel Kant (22 April 1724 – 12 February 1804) was an 18th-century German
philosopher from the Prussian city of Königsberg. Kant suggested that metaphysics
can be reformed through epistemology.[2] He suggested that by understanding the
sources and limits of human knowledge we can ask fruitful metaphysical
questions.mind structure that works in the world and knowldege constructs from
sensations and mind. He concluded that all objects about which the mind can think
must conform to its manner of thought. Therefore if the mind can think only in terms
of causality – which he concluded that it does – then we can know prior to
experiencing them that all objects we experience must either be a cause or an effect.
However, it follows from this that it is possible that there are objects of such nature
which the mind cannot think, and so the principle of causality, for instance, cannot be
applied outside of experience: hence we cannot know, for example, whether the
world always existed or if it had a cause. And so the grand questions of speculative
metaphysics cannot be answered by the human mind, but the sciences are firmly
grounded in laws of the mind.
 Ibn-khuldoon- priorites uloom-un-naqaliyah over uloom-un-
aqaliyah
Was the first muslim sociologist but some believe that august was the first.
