Source Energy installed two commercial-capacity heat pumps to supply all of the energy required for the heating and hot water to 17 of the apartments. Each of the apartments uses thermostatically controlled underfloor heating that maintains a relatively constant, comfortable temperature throughout the year. This delivers much lower running costs than a conventional heating system, and is far kinder on the building fabric.

Crest Court is an exciting development
overlooking the beach at Newquay. In 2009 Source Energy were chosen to install two commercial-capacity heat pumps to supply all of the energy required for the heating and hot water to 17 of the apartments. Our client was keen to use a ‘green’ energy source as opposed to gas and wanted a system that would allow the new owners of the apartments to benefit from low running and maintenance costs.

statically controlled underfloor heating that maintains a relatively constant, comfortable temperature throughout the year. This delivers much lower running costs than a conventional heating system, and is far kinder on the building fabric which means lower maintenance costs over the lifetime of the building.
