This Research Tries To Analyze News About Advertising Competition That Occurred
in The Implementation Of The National Congress Party of Functional Groups on Media
Indonesia Online, Vivanews, And Detik.

This research tries to analyze news about advertising competition that occurred in the
implementation of the National Congress of Party of Functional Groups on Media Indonesia
online, VIVAnews, and Detik. The purpose of this study to find out how Media Indonesia
online, VIVAnews, and detik to frame the news surrounding the advertising competition that
occurred in the implementation of the National Congress and to figure out some factors
underlying different perspective on mass media. This Theoretical framework of this research
is news in the constructionism paradigm through which this paradigm a reality constructed by
the news media. This research method used model framing analyses of Robert N Entman, and
the result of this research showed it has the a similar realities about advertising competition
which reported in the implementation of National Congress Party of Functional Groups that
can be packed into the news that has different meanings in each media. Media Indonesia
online showed take side on Surya Paloh, as we have known that the owner it is Surya Paloh,
it similar with VIVAnews, on its news take side on Aburizal Bakrie, it because the
VIVAnews is a subsidiary of the Bakrie Group. While in Detik tend not to take side in favor
of any party. Therefore, as readers wisely to think critically and  should not blindly accept
information that are served by the media, so we do not get trapped by the media as the fields
of business interests that also prioritizes profits in it news
