Both time & stress keeps you up on your toes.

There should be optimum level of st

the tasks on your hand with respect to the given time frame is the best way to m

(Written for HP on : How technology changed my life, in 400 words)
Back to Normal
It was the darkest of my days when that came to my life. It was supposed to brin
g light but on the contrary it added to my sorrows. I was just seven when specta
cles entered my life and they were not spectacular for sure. In the name of bett
er vision I was given a pair of "Trouble-makers".
You wash your face and your eyes aren't wet, why?? Because you had those little wi
nd-shields on your face, which didn't even have any wipers. You wake up and its
the first thing you look for and for the rest of the day it sits on your nose.
When I had enough sense I asked my ophthalmologist (or simply eye specialist), "Ho
w to get rid of these glasses?". He replied," Either have these glasses or milk
glasses". At that stage I was bound to choose the former.
Later, as I grew old, we were on the verge of making friends with each other. But
nature had its own plan- Adolescence. I, being a boy, had a natural (not deliber
ate!) inclination towards girls. Also, I had something on my nose declaring me a
Geek!. So this door was closed. On the other hand, my outdoor activities were d
iminished too. Shattered personality and sinking confidence triggered the most s
ought-after fight of my life again but this time I had technology on my side. A
ray of hope, traveling over 500 years from Leonardo da Vinci to the modern scien
tists, struck me. It was "The Contact Lenses". I, smirkingly, went back to the e
ye specialist and said, " What are contact lenses? Can I have them? ", but I und
erestimated his masters degree. He said," At your age I would not recommend it a
s the chances of hypoxia are high". I lost the battle. Glasses were still there
so was my hope.
Over the years technology evolved, normal contacts were transformed to SiliconeHydrogel Contacts. This time it was a winning stroke and I knew it. Even the doc
tor approved it. The new contacts glued the broken me. The lost confidence found
my address. Its impact was clear when I was selected for JENESYS programme to r
epresent the Indian youth in Japan. My life was changed thereafter. The part tec
hnology played in my success was evident. Really, technology transformed me back
to normal.

It is tough to stay focused on one thing when you are surrounded by so many gadg
ets. Hence, I utilized one of these distracting gadgets, i.e, smartphone to help
me focus. It is a simple activity that you put your phone on airplane mode and
then set a countdown for 20-25 minutes. In this time you will only do a certain
task which is of prime importance. With practice this time duration can be incre
ased as well.
With the boom of e-Commerce websites in India one more thing got rich, that is t
he big data on customers. Now we can't just see what the customer has bought, bu
t also we can see what customer will buy or wants to buy (via the wishlist funct
ionality). Customer's reaction over the product can also be recorded via comment
s. Hence, without spending a penny on customer survey we can track their behavio

ral pattern and can make strategies & policies likewise.
