Kims Timeline

1958 Kim is born.

1971 13 year old Kim is betrothed to Thuy.
1973 15 year old Kim begins work on the rice fields.
26th April 1975 Kims village is attacked and her family is killed.
27th April 1975 Kim starts work at Dream Land. She meets Chris. They
spend the night together and fall in love.
28th April 1975 The Blessing Ceremony
Chris promises Kim to take her with him to America.
29th 30th April 1975 The Fall of Saigon
January 1976 Kim gives birth to Tam, Chriss son.
30th April 1978 The third anniversary of the reunification of Vietnam.
Kim still believes.
7th May 1978 The Engineer finds Kim hiding. Kim shoots Thuy.
8th May 1978 The Engineer, Kim and Tam leave for Bangkok.
September 1978 John tells Chris of his son.
October 1978 John meets with Kim in Bangkok and tells her Chris is
here too.
Kim goes to Chriss hotel room only to meet his new wife Ellen.
Chris, Ellen and John come to see Kim and Tam.
Kim shoots herself to ensure Tams future.
