on

WEDNESDAY 23 MARCH @ 7:30 p.m.

455 Victoria Ave

Chatswood right
opposite the
Station,

Clint grew up in the Blue Mountains and got his first fly rod at 14yrs. He learnt
the art of fly fishing on Australian natives and trout. Looking for new
challenges he found saltwater fly fishing and soon turned his passion into a
fulltime job, guiding in west Cape York and on the east coast into the Coral
Sea in far North Queensland as well as guiding internationally.

Clints talk will cover exciting opportunities for fly fishing the saltwater flats
around Hinchinbrook Island in far north Queensland. The presentation will
cover a range of topics from specialist flats boats, the target fish barramundi,
queenfish, golden trevally, GTs and permit as well as equipment and techniques
to chase these fish. Flies used will be on hand for members to view. Clint will
also be telling us about his new accommodation, Australias first fully functional
saltwater fly lodge. We are fortunate to have him share his time with us.
