SCENE ONE
Time-lapse of school, shows the mundane day to day life of Blackrose Academy.

SCENE TWO
COREN VINCENT: This type of behaviour isnt acceptable at
Rosewood Academy.
VERONICA CALDER: (LOOKS NERVOUS) I didnt mean for it to
happen. Obviously. I was trying to stop it!
FINN LESTER: (ARMS CROSSED AND ROLLS HIS EYES)
JESSICA BROOKES: Billie had it coming!
BILLIE WHITE: Jessica had it coming.
PERCY SWANFIELD: (BITES HIS NAILS)
COREN VINCENT: Detention.
BILLIE WHITE: ShiSCENE THREE
School bell rings. Veronica, Finn, Jessica, Billie and Percy can
be seen sitting in a large room (detention room) in a circle,
facing one another.

VERONICA CALDER: (FIDDLES WITH A PENCIL IN HER HAND) Ive

never received a detention before. This is ridiculous.
JESSICA BROOKES: (APPEARS TO BE ANNOYED AND CLICKS HER
TONGUE) Were in the same boat goody-two shoes. (CASTS A
LOOK AT BILLIE) Some of us dont deserve to be here.
BILLIE WHITE: (SCOFFS) You poured beer all over Percy.
PERCY SWANFIELD: (NERVOUSLY) Dont bring me into this!
VERONICA CALDER: (QUIETLY) Guys
FINN LESTER: Maybe if Jess wasnt such a JESSICA BROOKES: Such a what? Youve been itching to have a
go at me since Jasons birthday since I called you out for
being a lightweight!

FINN LESTER: I threw up once!

VERONICA CALDER: (SHOUTS) Guys!
Power cuts out and the five teenagers are plunged into darkness.
They look at one another as the scene fades to a text title.

FIVE UNLIKELY TEENAGERS

QUICK SHOT #1
A shadowed figure is seen standing in front of a door. Light is
seen through the windows of the door, so the shadowed figure
appears to have a backlight. He holds a gun in his hand.

SCENE FOUR
Percy is seen reading a book, looks over his shoulder.

PERCY SWANFIELD: Finn, is that you?

Scenes fades to another text title.

COME TOGETHER
(FADES IN) TO SURVIVE.
QUICK SHOT #2
A gunshot sounds. Finn runs down a long corridor, he keeps looking
behind him. As lights flicker, a shadowed and hooded figure can be
seen at the very end of the corridor, remaining stationary.

QUICK SHOT #3
Veronica and Finn are seen breaking into an office.

QUICK SHOT #4
Percy reads a book as a figure is seen approaching him from
behind, a weapon in their hand.

(VOICEOVER) VERONICA CALDER: We cant fight each other

anymore.
QUICK SHOT #5
Billie and Jessica hold hands as they run across a field that is
only illuminated by spotlights.

QUICK SHOT #6
Finn sits with his head in his hands, clearly distressed, a bloody
gun on the ground in front of him.

QUICK SHOT #7
Veronica holds a torch in her hand as she and Percy enter the
canteen.

(VOICEOVER) VERONICA CALDER: We need to fight together.

QUICK SHOT #8
Veronica is in the bathrooms. She is in front of the mirror,
rubbing her head, before she opens her eyes and sees a hooded
figure standing in one of the open cubicles.

(VOICEOVER) FINN LESTER: Help us!

QUICK SHOT #9
Jessica throws books at the shadowed, hooded figure, she is
cornered by the villain.

QUICK SHOT #10

Billie comforts Finn in the library (referred to to quick shot 6).

QUICK SHOT #11

The shadowed figure drags Veronica away.

QUICK SHOT #12

Veronica wrestles with the hooded figure, a needle full of red
liquid is held to to neck.

QUICK SHOT #13

Finn is shown in distress, crying as a gun is held to his jaw.

(VOICEOVER) VERONICA CALDER: Whatever happens next...

QUICK SHOT #14
Percy is shown to be terrified.

QUICK SHOT #15

Billie jumps out of a window. The camera moves to show a shadowed,
hooded figure behind her.

QUICK SHOT #16

Veronica slaps Jessica around the face.

QUICK SHOT #17

Jessica locks the toilet cubicle behind her, she closes her eyes
and breaths heavily.

QUICK SHOT #18

Veronica and Finn hold each other, each holding a bat in their
hands as they look around them.

(VOICEOVER) VERONICA CALDER: Just know that we need each

other.
