Lactation Cookie Recipe

2 tbs

flax seed meal

1c
1/2 c

butter, softened
brown sugar

1/2 tbsp
yeast
1 tbsp
1/2 tsp
of tartar
2.5 c

vanilla extract

1/4 c
1c

granulated sugar
egg yolks
1/4 c

wheat germ
salt

1 tsp

old-fashioned oats

1c

water

brewers'

baking soda
1/2 tsp
cream
chocolate chips

1. Preheat oven to 350 F (175 C)


2. Mix flaxseed with water and let soak for 5 minutes.
3. Beat butter and sugars until creamy. Add egg and vanilla and beat. Stir in
flaxseed mixture into the butter mixture.
4. Mix remaining ingredients EXCEPT for oats and chocolate in a serperate
bowl. Add to butter mixture and stir until combined. Fold in oats and
chocolate.
5. Roll dough into quarter-round sized balls. Place 2 inches apart on a baking
sheet.
6. Bake until edges are golden (about 10-12 minutes). Allow cookies to cool
about one minute before transferring to a wire rack.
