1) Observe the beakers in the picture. Do the beakers contain the same amount of
water or one is more than the other? Why do you say so?

The same because both beakers (a) have same level of water. It only changes in
height because beaker (c) is smaller in diameter.

2) The teacher gives you 20 oranges and you need to distribute them to your
friends. You are also given a choice either to use a basket, a trolley or just by
hand. Which of these three will you use? Why?

Basket. Although using trolley is easier to carry, my class is at level 2 of the


academic building. I cannot use trolley to go upstairs, so I use basket instead.

3) The modelling clay is moulded into a round shape. Later, it is flattened. Do you
think that they are of the same? Do you think that one is bigger than the other?

They are still the same. Just that they changes in shape.

4) Count from 1 to 30. Later, reverse the sequence.

Student successfully accomplish both sequence easily without stuttering.

5) 8 + 8 = 16, 16 8 = ? (8)
6) 12 + 12 = 24, 24 12 = ? (12)
7) 9 x 9 = 81, 81 / 9 = ? (9)

8) Do you achieve any improvement in your examination results? (Provide


evidence / evidences).
