CAREERS INFORMATION DAY

The quality of the services that the NHS provides relies heavily on
attracting and retaining the very best individuals, who embody its values.
With more than 350 career opportunities within the NHS, including many careers
within management, administration and maintenance services, there is an unparalleled
range of opportunities for those currently outside the NHS to transfer into and thrive.
In partnership with Walking with the Wounded and the Royal Foundation, Sheffield
Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is hosting a Careers Information Day for
armed forces service leavers and veterans at our Northern General Hospital. The day
will include:
- An introduction to the NHS and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
- An overview of NHS roles, opportunities and sought after skills.
- The opportunity to meet ex-service personnel now working in NHS organisations.
- Information about the recruitment process within the NHS.
- The opportunity to apply for a work experience placement within the NHS.
