It is the existence of a child that fulfils the essence of a family as it is the basic unit

of raising children. The bond between parents and child is the very foundation of a
family. In short a family should have of a father, mother and children. In a
traditional Filipino family, the father is considered the head and the provider of the
family while the mother takes responsibility of the domestic needs and in charge of
the emotional growth and values formation of their children.
It is a cycle that once you enter relationship later you will plan together what you
will want to become in the future together. How many children is the basic question
being asked. You want your children to become like what you are. Just like the like
father and son and like mother and daughter relationship or bonding. You want your
children to become what you are and when they grow old, your children will return
the favor they have done for you. How can you consider what your father have done
to you if you dont want to become a father like your father.
By definition, a family is a group of people affiliated recognized birth, affinity or by
marriage or by co-residence. But most societies use the term family by a mother, a
father and a child, whether by natural birth or adoption. Even if there is an absence
of one of the parents, there has to be atleast one child for a group of people to be
considered as a family.
