COMMON USES

OTIC AGENTS

* Pull pinna up and back on adults, down and back for children 3
years of age and younger.
* Position patient supine, with affected ear up. Should remain supine
for 5 minutes after medication is instilled.
* Medication should not be cold, should be at least room
temperature.
*Generally mild adverse reactions including ear irritation, local
stinging or burning, dizziness
