Aloha Kihei Charter School - Senior Projects Advisor,

Gardner Pierce interned with Tradewind Graphics during the months of September and
October of 2015, often working 8 hour days. He has successfully completed 80+ hours of
internship work at Tradewind Graphics.
Gardner progressed well over the internship. By the end he was able work independently on
his designated macintosh computer and didnt hesitate to ask for assistance when needed.
He became a valuable part of our team and was able to complete projects on his own. He has
become proficient with our plotter and laminating machines, creating die cut stickers and
mounted posters. He has completed client design projects using both Adobe InDesign and
Adobe Illustrator. I believe Gardner achieved his goals interning at Tradewind Graphics and
has obtained a good understanding of what its like to have a job in Graphic Design.
We would welcome another intern from Kihei Charter School if they possessed the same
skills and work ethic that Gardner demonstrated.
