International Conference on Hospitality and Tourism Management (ICOHT) is one of the most
innovative forum to discuss tourism and hospitality related issues, policies, challenges and
future directions. ICOHT 2016 organizes for the consecutive 4th year with the theme of
Tourism as a driver of economic growth, inclusive development and environmental
sustainability; a global solution for a better future for the planet and co-hosted by Middlesex
University Business School, United Kingdom and TIIKM Conferences.
Since its first, second and third round on Colombo, Sri Lanka from 2013 to 2015, and this is the
first time conference going to be held at Bangkok, Thailand and conference will bring together
tourism and hospitality industry leaders, educators, researchers and scholars in the domain of
interest from around the world.
We, The International Institute of Knowledge Management invite all researchers in the field of
tourism to submit their quality paper abstracts and complete panel, workshop, and roundtable
proposals which are reflecting the conference theme and all other aspects of tourism and
hospitality management to this tourism conference. In co-hosting this conference, The
International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM) will provide a greater platform to
intensify the exchange of information on results of academic empirical research and case
studies in the domain of interest. Topics of interest for submission include the following 08
technical areas, but are not limited to:

2. Tourisms contribution to promote socioeconomic growth and development
3. Improving tourism competitiveness
4. Promoting sustainable tourism development
5. Advancing tourisms contribution to poverty reduction and development
6. Promoting employment through fostering knowledge, education and capacity-building
7. Creating synergies and partnership across tourism sectors
8. Smart and innovative tourism development
