over a year as a third grade teacher at River Oaks Elementary School. She is an exceptional
person who strives to meet all of her job requirements and goes above and beyond all
expectations for dealing with young children. She has worked with her third grade team to
successfully implement the new policies and procedures required at a new school like River
Oaks. The team established a cohesive unit and built a positive environment for students.
Wendy is a person of exceptional character. She is honest, trustworthy and always interested in
furthering her skills and knowledge. She puts effort into everything she does and exhibits the life
skills of kindness, caring and patience with her students. Wendy served on our School
Improvement Council, attended staff development and common planning and was an integral
member of our staff.
