Name:

Bethany Oliver

Project title:

Repetition

Shoot/draft no:

Your next steps from the previous shoot(s) how will you refine and develop your work?
I have done one practice shoot where I split up photos of buildings into sections. I liked splitting up the image in
different ways, so I will do this in my next shoot.
Description of aims and ideas for your shoot what do you want your photographs to communicate?
In my first shoot, I will take photos of a range of objects, so I can see which photos I like the most. This means I can
refine my ideas in shoot two. I will take photos of small objects such as stationary and use the grid technique to
create repetition. I could arrange the props on the table and take the photos from a birds-eye view, but I could also
take photos from different angles to see what works best.
Date

02/02/2016

Time

12:05

Location notes permission, studio, booking, transport and weather

I will take my photos in the classroom as the lighting is good and there is lots of space.

Photographer/artist inspiration
My inspiration is Maurizio Galimberti. I like his work because he makes a group of simple photos into one complex
collage.
Techniques/processes you will use to achieve your aims
I will use the grid technique to make repetition. I can cut up the photos and arrange them, or use an app on my
phone to create a collage.
Equipment notes
I will use a school camera and take photos of things that I have brought in.
