Using technology allows learners to examine information from a variety of
places and time periods. Therefore, this lesson has been shaped by the
constructivist learning theory because it focuses on people constructing
their own understanding and knowledge of the world through experiencing
the world and reflecting on those experiences (Harasim, 2012, 60). Each
activity that involves the use of technology provides the students with the
ability to utilize previous knowledge (general or course related) to
successfully complete the task.

Lesson Rubric:
The rubric chosen for the lesson is analytic. This type of rubric involves the
teacher scoring separate, individual parts of the product or performance,

rubric will allow students to understand why they earned their score as well
as what can be done to improve the score if a re-do is permitted.
