My country

India is my country. It is also called Bharat. India is a large country made up of many
states and union territories. It is the land of mountains, forests, plains. It has many rivers like
Ganga, Yamuna, Narmada, Godavari, and Krishna.
India has many developed cities, among them is Mumbai. New Delhi is the capital of the
India.
India is full of beauty. It has many monuments, temples, people of many religion and
culture live here. India follows the democratic form of government.
I love my country very much.

Story Writing- True Charity
Once Gandhiji was in England during the winter. Despite of the severe cold, Gandhiji wore
no shirt. A small girl, who came there for a visit, offered Gandhiji a shirt. Gandhiji told her that
one shirt is not enough for him. He wanted forty crore shirts.
The girl was puzzled. At home, the girl this incidence to her father. Her father explained
her that forty crore shirts were for the people of India. Until the people of India has not worn the
proper clothes, Gandhiji will not wear a shirt.
This story shows the Gandhijis love for the people of his country.
