Environmental issues

Our environment is vital to our success, nature provides us with

resources that can be used for energy purposes and electric power.
There are two types of resources, renewable energy resources and
non-renewable. Kinds of non renewable resources are the fossil
fuels and the nuclear fuels but in the case of renewable there are
many of them, such as solar ,geothermal and wave energy.
Wave Power energy is coming from the waves and its power is
generated in coastal stations. In order to create this kind of power
station several environmental issues must be considered such as
the location of the station and the environmental impact. The best
wave energy environments are along western coast lines because
most consistent winds come from the west .Visual appearance,
noise, atmospheric and oceanic emissions are types pollution and
they also have to be considered. Wave power energy is a perfect
type of energy because it does not pollute the environment, wave
devices tend to be on the surface and dont have propellers so they
will create less environmental damage than other renewable energy
technologies. The generation of power from waves does not have
any noise pollution and does not generate solid water or waste
water and the most important is that it does not have any gaseous
emissions.
